
“Revenue just stopped,” Mister T’s Specialty Meats owner Terrence Singleton said. The pandemic dealt a blow that threatened the business he and his wife, Denise, have operated since 1990.
“We deliver specialty beef, pork, chicken and seafood mainly to churches, daycares and senior care homes,” Singleton said. “When the pandemic hit, a huge portion of my business just dried up.”
Thankfully, the Singletons had been working with the Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) before the pandemic hit.
