On March 4, 2019, LeMoyne-Owen College students visited the Crews Center of Entreprneurship at University of Memphis. NaShawn Branch, DBA Adjunct Instructor, wanted these students to be exposed to entrepreneurship which is another option for young people to pursue. Mike Hoffmeyer, Crews Center Director and Bryan Barringer, entrepreneur-in-residence, gave students a tour and shared information about the upcoming summer internship program – ImagineU.

My students call me Dr. Branch and I love to teach, conduct research, and start businesses. I am very passionate about teaching students the value of entrepreneurship so that when they graduate from school, they can employ their own community.
Most of my students are Millennials and we discuss what matters most to them. I discuss business opportunities in their community . Our classrooms discussions are lively, interactive, and FUN.
